October news
Well the month of October started really well for us. The 1st day Ryan came home hunched over and fell on the bed and was moaning with pain in his back. He had thrown it out once again. I thought he was over doing the complaining. I can't help thinking everyone is faking it. I grew up with a bunch of kids that would fake sick to get attention or get out of going to school. Anyway, by the third day of this and him missing school, I started getting scared. We were really starting to lose it because we thought this was going to mess up our plans of Ryan graduating by December. Ryan's mom came to our rescue and boosted our morale some. We found out that he herniated another disc in his back and they gave him a cortizone shot. He's slowly feeling a little better. His determination to graduate got him back to school and he was able to catch up after having missed two weeks. We're almost all the way back on track. We've been able to get excited about talking about our future again. Ryan's been talking with the career advisement center and the guy gave us a bunch of contacts from a lot of good companies. He's got a few interviews coming up on Monday and he just had one over the phone with Cisco. The advisor also told him to get into a class that will help him with the GMAT so that he will be able to go on to get his Masters someday, depending on how it all works out. Then the girls had so much fun on Halloween. I did their hair in wringlets. It was really cute. Alice was Princess Belle and Grace was Snow White. Rockwell was a little red hot chili pepper (not a member of the band but an actual little pepper) Alice kept saying, "You just say trick-or-treat, and they give you candy!" She was amazed at the concept.
